Livelihood for Life
“Livelihood for Life” Project focused on the prevention for trafficking of children and adults from the Communities which are severely affected by the 2015 earthquake and returnee migrant women. This project helped to improve families livelihood so that families are better able to support themselves, recover from the earthquake, and conduct awareness activities that ensure safe migration messages by reaching the most vulnerable families and individuals. Those objectives were meet through resources to re-establish enterprises engage local group to support families and provide microfinance, link to awareness to trafficking, special emphasis to re-integration of earthquake victims and returnee migrant women.
The project included two major activities. They were:
- Self-Employment Education Program (SEEP)
- Vocational training.
During the project, other sub activities were also carried out likewise training and on-the-job mentoring for working group, Committees and local people.
