wage-workers hearing program
POURAAKHI Nepal organized virtual wage worker hearing program to mark International Migration day 2020 on 16 Dec 2020. The program was organized through zoom platform. Main objective of this program was to hear the problem of labor migrant worker during their foreign employment process.
The program was moderated by Kumar Yatru and was live from official Facebook page of POURAKHI Nepal. Please follow the video for entire program.
During the online program Direct General, foreign employment division, representatives from different organizations, journalist, migrant workers, returnee migrant worker was participated.
Migrant worker shared their experience during their foreign employment process. Specially they shared the problem they have been facing in foreign country regarding wage and working time. DG, foreign employment division asked everyone to come up with foreign employment division for any problem regarding labor migration.
